Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Natomas / Remote
Compensation: $30+ hourly

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects and clients with a collaborative team
  • Create high-quality visual, and data-informed memos, reports, and tools for internal team members and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop programmatic recommendations on homelessness-related topics
  • Provide consistent information and documentation to all involved parties
  • Work collaboratively with Board members, committee members, colleagues, partnering organizations, and other regional and national representatives.
  • Advance and increase effectiveness of all current initiatives and outcomes.
  • Frequent communication with internal team members and external partners, stakeholders, community members, and other representatives.
  • Respond promptly to all incoming communications and requests for information.
  • Build and manage relationships with partners and outside agencies within Sacramento, the surrounding areas and nationwide.
  • Participate in public meetings and forums as directed.
  • Attend Board and committee meetings as directed.
Project Coordinator Requirements:
  • Must be able to exercise excellent independent judgment.
  • Experience working with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) procedures and requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize required workload.
  • Respect for lived experience of homelessness.
  • Familiarity with the local homelessness response system, including the network of providers and the types of services and housing options available , is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring that all correspondence is written in a professional manner.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Exercises patience during all interactions.
  • Works well under pressure to meet multiple, competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrates professional and cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors at all times.
  • Demonstrates professional and cooperative behavior with external partners throughout the community at all times.
  • Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
  • Experience working with a large diverse workforce of people with different cultures, backgrounds, and opinions.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
  • Ethical leadership capabilities and commitment to promoting a healthy team environment.
