Job Title: Property Accountant

Location: Concord
Compensation: $75-90k

Job Summary:

Our client, a multi-family residential property real estate company, is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join their team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and managing financials of the company's diverse portfolio, including office, retail, industrial, and apartment assets. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills. Job Title Responsibilities:

Post/adjust charges to tenant ledgers and input all tenant status charges.
Generate and review tenant statements, rent rolls and aging reports.
Track lease renewals and lease expirations.
Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts and maintain vendor relationships.
Prepare monthly JE's, verify all G/L balances tie-out to subledgers and ensure accuracy of entity/property trial balances.
Maintain depreciation schedules.
Prepare and distribute financial statements: BS, IS, Op Stmts
Ongoing review and adjustment of financial report discrepancies.
Assist with audit PBC schedules each year.
Coordinate with property management staff on a daily basis.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.

Job Title Requirements:

High School graduate, college or business school graduate preferred.
Minimum 5+ years Accounting experience
Commercial Real Estate/property management accounting experience strongly desired.
Experience with Yardi Voyager required.
Must be proficient with PC, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
Confident, positive attitude.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities and workflow.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
