Purchasing | Warehouse Supervisor
Successful Sonoma County Plumbing contractor is adding to their team!
Compensation: $30-35 per hour plus terrific benefits
60% purchasing and 40% overseeing warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Quoting material and pursuing competitive material pricing.
Process material requests and purchase orders.
Process Receiving, Invoicing and Returns.
Keep all pricing current in data base.
Maintaining inventory levels and logistics within warehouse.
Manage warehouse employee stocking and staging areas.
Managing truck fleet - maintenance and safety.
Managing tools and maintenance for safe operating condition.
Maintain proper forklift training and certifications.
Collaborate with management team to improve efficiency.
Ensure the warehouse yard and equipment are kept neat, clean, and organized.
Inventory Management for Servicing.
Responsible for all warehouse logistics which includes shipping/receiving, inventory, purchasing and all relative documentation
Keep all pricing current in the data base
Pursue competitive material pricing opportunities and recommend bulk purchasing options
Maintain Inventory levels and logistics within the warehouse
Maintenance and maintain tools in a safe operating condition
* Coordinate material returns to vendors and monitor the associated credits
* Supervise, train and develop warehouse personnel and oversee daily operations
* Conducts performance evaluations, schedules and approves overtime, issues disciplinary
actions, and resolves personnel issues
* Maintain warehouse stocking and staging areas
* Maintain vehicle maintenance and safety
* Maintain all safety and compliance standards
* Maintain proper forklift certifications
* Collaborate with management team to improve efficiencies
* Ensures warehouse yard and equipment are neat, clean and organized
* Supervise, train, and develop warehouse personnel and oversee daily operations.
