East Bay industry leading Logistics and 3PL giant is seeking a QA Admin. to support and augment Root Cause Corrective Actions that impact Performance metrics and Escalations.

The day to day functions and tasks with this role are, but not limited to:

  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content and effectively communicate all aspects of gathered information to a globally recognized Semiconductor leader.
  • Work closely with various Warehouse, Operations, Logistics and Management departments to understand project goals.
    • Includes an evaluation of processes, products, and services to ensure that our client meets their end users' needs.
    • Responsible for overseeing the Corrective Action Report process (CAR); Non-Conforming Report Database (NCR) and the Quality Deficiency Report (QDR).
    • Tasking includes performing investigations on the appropriate WMS system, researching the transaction & order history, reviewing the pick process, and interviewing associates to determine if the Standard Work instruction needs to be revised.
    • Create and document a Containment-Plan to improve processes on the CAR. Keen understanding of QCBD, CAR process and driving root cause analysis is key to the position.

Requirements and qualifications needed to succeed are:

  • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational/grammatically accurate standards.
  • Deep understanding of logistics to translate complex product/goal data into simple, polished, and engaging content.
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
  • Responsible for the Corrective Action Reporting (CAR) process including working closely with other leadership members and provide tactical support and oversight of CAR owners.
  • Consistently maintains a professional demeanor and communicates in a respectful and collaborative manner with coworkers, managers, and others in the workplace.
  • Follows direction, is engaged and productive, and is flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations.
  • Has ability to work independently and to collaborate with and support other members of the department and across the enterprise.
  • Strong sense of urgency and drive to succeed.
  • Presentation skills; Effective communication; Strong Business Acumen; Leadership; Root Cause Analysis!
  • 2+ years' in a Root Cause Analysis/QA role preferably in a Logistics or Manufacturing environment.

Compensation is $24/hr. - $28/hr. (DoE / open to negotiation)

Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

Pre-screening requirements: Tend to client's 7-year criminal background screen, 5-pane drug test provide COVID vaccination

Assignment is contract to hire.
