Job Title: Inspector I & Inspector II

Performs inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes.

Quality Control Inspector I

Carries out manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure standards and regulations are met

Maintains quality database

Communicates to other departments of finding during inspection

Assist other areas to maintain timeliness and budget of projects



Education/

Experience

High School diploma or equivalent

One year experience preferred

Competencies

Customer/Client Focus Organizational Skills

Ethical Conduct Personal Effectiveness/Credibility

Time Management

Physical*

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment*

The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts or is exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Quality Control Inspector II
Job Functions/Purpose

Performs inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes, and performs conformity inspections/documentation.

Assists in drafting procedures and validating methods

Maintains quality database

Communicates to other departments of findings during inspection

Engineering change order review and processing for documentation control

Perform conformity inspections

Assist other areas to maintain timeliness and budget of projects

Job Requirements

Education/

Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years of relevant work experience, 4 years of relevant work experience preferred
