Great Walnut Creek company, known for delivering Best In Class customer service, is actively seeking Customer Service Representatives who are able to work from home, assisting customers as part of a project. This is a full-time, contract/temp role, expected to last between 3-6 months. Previous customer service experience is necessary. Experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections is helpful. Must not be afraid to make outbound calls and speak to customers on the phone. Equipment and training will be provided.

What will I be doing in this role?

  • Making outbound calls to subscribers who have fallen behind in paying their subscription fees and assisting them with making payments and bringing their past due accounts current
  • Answering questions regarding past payments and account status ("soft" collections- this is not a hard-line collections role)
  • Logging notes and details from the call into the account file online for future reference
What are the attributes/skills needed for this role?
  • Minimum 1-2 years recent experience in a customer service role
  • Strong phone etiquette
  • Outgoing personality and strong sense of empathy
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
