Sales - Account Manager

Terrific opportunity to put your business to business sales skills to work!

Location: Petaluma

Compensation: Base plus commission and excellent benefits

Job Summary:

The Account Manager oversees a portfolio of assigned customers, develops new business from existing clients, and actively seeks new sales opportunities (B2B).


  • Generates computer IT Sales by identifying customer product's needs.
  • Present our company and develop new business relationships with corporate and government procurement staff.
  • Works directly with manufacturers and distributors to research and source computer/IT products.
  • Responds to bids, preparing quotes, providing product pricing, and ensuring accurate delivery of orders.
  • Manage the flow of products and services to our customers.
  • Provide a high level of outstanding customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pleasant and confident phone voice.
  • Able to multi-task and set priorities.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to use critical thinking skills in a variety of situations.
  • Technical familiar with computer IT products and solutions or related technologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Computer hardware, software/IT Sales experience a plus
  • Previous experience selling to corporate, education or government accounts plus.

Education and Experience:

  • At least two years of sales experience, preferably over the phone.
