Sales & Service Lead

Raleigh Durham NC

$25 - $28 p/hr

Contracted Assignment - duration up to 2 years

Increase the client's subscriber base through Retail, Event and Door-to-Door sales. This role will also be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience and support to all guests who contact and visit the client's retail location. This position reports to the local Retail Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets by building a lead pipeline through ongoing field interactions and conducting phone and/or email follow up to close sales
  • Staff client's retail space and work directly with customers to provide; customer service, technical support, and product positioning for sell through. While maintaining a high level of brand representation, this includes uniforms and showroom readiness of the kiosk.
  • Perform day to day retail operations including but not limited to; opening and closing procedures and maintaining customer equipment inventory
    • Ensure regular completion of physical inventory counts, including accurate product tracking on spreadsheets and SAP and ordering of inventory from supply & logistics
  • Schedule and staff customer acquisition events targeting local eligible prospects
  • Travel to neighborhoods in market footprint to engage prospective customers through door-to-door sales
  • Leverage client tools and processes to handle customer escalations as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage daily operations of retail team to meet business objectives
    • Assign daily tasks to team and communicate expectation, follow up on completion
    • Validate team productivity throughout the day and help find productive activities
  • Provide ongoing sales training and coaching to local retail team members
  • Hold weekly team meetings with team members to communicate goals for the space
  • Escalate customer concerns and issues to CAM as needed Assist with screening & interviewing of new candidates

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and 1-2 years of relevant work experience in customer service, retail, marketing, or sales
  • General familiarity with Google products and related applications including but not limited to; Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Forms and Gmail service
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible schedule with good driving record

  • Qualifications:
  • 4 year college degree, or 4 years of relevant work experience 2+ years of retail experience with proven results 1-2 years of staff management/leadership experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detailed oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Thrives in ambiguity Intermediate data analysis skills
