Nelson Connects is immediately hiring Sales Operations Admin for a local leading organization in Petaluma, CA. The Sales Operations Admin will help continue to provide a best in class service experience for customers, and implement process improvements to make a positive difference in the organization. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for wide ranging administrative and sales support duties. You are a highly motivated and self-directed individual. You possess exceptional teamwork and communication skills to successfully collaborate with team members.

As a Sales Operations Admin, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the sales team in retail operations and execution
  • Communicate with key internal department stakeholders on sales initiatives and strategies
  • Utilize sales data platform to create analytic sales reports
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records, checking for accuracy
  • Understand and work within the ERP system for sales applications
  • Assist the sales team with the Retail Price Survey
  • 1WorldSync & IX-ONE new product submissions
  • Create presell sheets for new items
  • Create and send out notifications regarding product changes
  • Work with sales team to create and update customer specific new item forms
  • Complete required promotional paperwork and submit to retail customers as required
  • Schedule in-store demonstrations with retailers
  • Process new account paperwork

Sales Operations Admin candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Five years' experience in a CPG related environment preferred
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with peers in other disciplines: operations, supply chain, finance, and technology
  • Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple projects and handle the unexpected
  • Ability to effectively present information to peers and executive team members
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent customer service skills

For this role, the schedule is: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with the possibility to be flex/hybrid

Pay for this position is $27.00 - $29.00 DOE

Experience with the following is a PLUS:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems
