Senior A/P Specialist
Palo Alto
$70k - $90k with full benefits

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to add a Senior A/P Specialist to their rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is a team player who can help to lead the accounts payable department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Verify and prepare invoices for entry
  • Review invoices for two and three-way matching
  • Organize, code, and process company invoices
  • Communicate with vendors about past due payments, missing invoices, etc. in a timely manner
  • Audit work to ensure no duplicates, mis-coding, or overpayments
  • Assist with reporting, filing, and audits
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close
  • Reconcile company credit card statements

Ideal qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP
  • Degree in accounting or finance is a plus
  • Must have previous experience in manufacturing
