Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Emeryville

Compensation: $95k-130k

Job Summary:

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights that drive business decisions. Job Title Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting

* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports

* Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities

* Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

* Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions

* Assist with tax preparation and filing

* Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards

* Maintain accounting policies and procedures

* Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed

Job Title Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

* 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger accounting and financial reporting

* Construction industry experience required

* Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards

* Experience with accounting software, such as Vista preferred

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Detail-oriented and highly organized
