Senior Accountant

Local non-profit with a focus on housing development is in need of an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time position based in Santa Rosa offering a hybrid schedule. The Senior Accountant will need to possess a strong accounting foundation (GAAP), and functional accounting knowledge in property or real estate development.

Main functions will include, but not be limited to:

Preparing, managing, and reconciling general ledger and subledger accounts.
Supporting with the analysis of financial data and generation of financial reporting.
Performing financial review for current and upcoming real estate transactions including purchase, sale or refinance of subject properties.
Assisting with annual audits and providing relevant information to CPA's for tax preparation
Reconciling intercompany transactions, review and approve invoices for corporate entities

Ideal qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
3+ years' accounting experience
Non-profit or real estate development accounting experience preferred
