Stable Sacramento based distribution company is seeking a strong Senior Accountant with a public accounting background to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to get industry exposure with a group of sharp and motivated individuals.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares and manages general ledger journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Reconciles accounts
• Assures complete and timely filing of local, state, and federal taxes
• Prepares and analyzes various financial reports
• Assists with both internal and external audits

Ideal qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting
• Public accounting firm experience highly preferred
