Senior Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Client is a small, non-profit corporation dedicated to funding medical research grants in the state of California. We are looking for a part-time Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Foundation located in Petaluma, CA.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

· Provide consistent support for the CEO and CFO (including email, general correspondence and some financial reports in excel)

· Assist the Program Director with application and grant correspondence, annual meetings and website maintenance.

· Communicate with appropriate parties regarding Foundation activities, grants and events

· Attend quarterly Board Meeting and prepare meeting minutes

· Answer the main phone line and provide general Foundation information to the public as well as to potential applicants/grantees.

· Comfortable performing basic clerical duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· College degree (preferred but not required) or equivalent work experience

· Must be fully proficient in MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat

· Experience with Slack, Zoom, Trello and WordPress would be helpful

· Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, including excellent grammar and ability to accurately proofread

· High degree of organization and keen attention to detail

· Fast learner, including mastery of new software if necessary

· Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

· Enjoys working in a quiet, casual yet professional, friendly atmosphere in a small office

Hours:

This is a part-time, non-exempt position, 25 hours per week.

(Preferably) Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and Tuesday & Thursday - 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm-- hours and days are flexible with timing but we require a minimum of 4 days per week.
