Job Title: Senior Cost Accountant
Location: Campbell (Onsite/Hybrid)
Compensation: $40-$50 per hour
Job Summary:
Established company looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. Looking for a detail-oriented person with responsibilities that include analyzing variances, overseeing manufacturing and inventory modules and inventory accounting.
Job Title Responsibilities:
* Maintain inventory/finance related data and system attributes within QAD.
* Support month-end close, reconcile inventory, and prepare journal entries.
* Provide analysis on cost revaluation to ensure inventory is valued property.
* Weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost accounting activities and financial reporting.
* Oversee company's cycle count and year-end inventory.
* Work with external auditors/consultants and provide audit and tax support.
* Ensure the bill of materials and routings are accurate.
* Responsible for cost update, overhead rates, BOM review, and routing maintenance.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Title Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
* 5+ years of experience in cost accounting.
* Experience in Biotech/Medical Device Manufacturing a plus.
* Experience with QAD preferred with a proven record of working with R&D and Operations.
* Must have strong Excel skills.
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
