A client of ours who is a Leader in the Business Spend Management (BSM) and is looking for a Senior Director of Global Compensation. This role will be hybrid position and is Direct Hire in the Peninsula area. The Sr. Director of Global Compensation will be responsible for designing and administering compensation programs for the company. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing compensation strategies and designing and executing supporting structures and programs.

This role will report directly to the SVP of Total Rewards & Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the executive team, consult and resolve compensation issues using creative and strategic approaches.
  • Ensure appropriate compensation programs and structures are in place to meet the needs of the business. Develop and implement new programs based on business objectives and the external market.
  • Design and iterate compensation policies such as salary bands and compensation ranges, short and long-term incentive plans, and on-call bonus programs in support of business needs.
  • Manage execution of compensation programs such as annual merit and performance review process, bonus, and equity programs.
  • Direct activities related to compensation survey participation, market analysis, trends and practices and evaluate the organization's market competitiveness.
  • Consult with senior leadership regarding compensation program development and interpretation.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit processes are developed, approved and followed.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of legislation and work closely with legal to ensure existing policies comply with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.


Requirements:

  • Experience with designing and administering compensation and incentive plans.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation
