Senior Financial Analyst, Operations

Sunnyvale, CA

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be partnering with various teams within Supply Chain Operations, this candidate will integrate themselves into all aspects of our Instrument's supply chain (contract manufacturing sourcing, demand planning, related post-sales needs, etc). This position is ideal for a candidate with superior attention to detail, an unquenchable curiosity to learn about the business, and a commitment to continuous improvement. A fundamental knowledge of GAAP will be essential as will the desire to standardize / implement scalable processes.

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be part of the Operations Finance Team, supporting a very fast growing Operations Organization tasked with meeting growth initiatives while maintaining fiscal discipline. This position will be based in Sunnyvale, CA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

· Establish a CM supplier KPI dashboard / cost tracker enabling "all in" costs assessments. Provide VAVE opportunity support via BOM cost comparatives.

· Provide business continuity financial analyses for critical vendor/parts, alternate/second sourcing, etc.

· Assist in evaluating purchasing agreements / contracts and distill information from a financial perspective.

· Represent Operations Finance as subject matter expert for establishing new business processes including refurbished inventory (reverse logistics) process, instrument configuration model, etc.

· Liaise with instrument supply planning, instrument demand planning, and Ops Finance to create a comprehensive view of inventory and tracking of liabilities with third parties.

· Provide FP&A Opex support as needed, including forecast, budget, month-end close journal entries and flux analytics, ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

The essential requirements of the job include:

· Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant FP&A experience

· Superior knowledge of Excel

· Strong hands-on ERP (preferably SAP), Data Warehouse and Consolidations & Reporting tool experience and business analysis (SAP, BPC, BW, OneStream Hyperion HFM experience preferred).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· MBA or Equivalent

· Experience supporting Operations (knowledge of contract manufacturing a plus)

· Experience with Power BI
