Job Title: Senior Payroll Analyst
Location: Corte Madera
Compensation: $75,000-80,000

Job Summary:
Prominent Marin county client is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join their Payroll Department. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to managing requirements for the payroll audit as well as providing back-up support to the Leader and Director on the Payroll team on an as needed basis. The Ideal candidate will be open to learning, collaborate well with others, and have a positive attitude. Experience in a retail payroll environment, a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile all key payroll general ledger accounts monthly
  • Participate in the testing and development of enhanced internal controls inclusive of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and Pre and Post-audit reviews.
  • Maintain workers compensation wage reporting and premium payment responsibilities.
  • Support additional reporting requirements as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned, including UAT participation for new systems implementations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Payroll Analyst experience
  • Must recognize the importance of handling highly confidential information
  • Understanding of payroll related regulations
  • Experience using ProBusiness/ADP Canada a Plus
  • Experience in payroll conversions/implementations a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
