Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant

Location: St. Helena, CA
Compensation: $70k-$85k

Job Summary:

Established Accounting firm with emphasis in Wine, Hospitality and Real Estate is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for providing accounting support with a focus on cash accounts and fixed assets.


Job Title Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Month end close for multiple entities
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Ad-hoc analysis and entries
  • Maintain financial data accuracy
  • Manage business property tax filings
  • Manage transactional postings in ERP
  • Maintain external fixed asset and equipment databases, reconciled to ERP as part of monthly closing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency of business processes


Job Title Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field
  • Proficient with Excel and MS Office
  • 2+ years' experience in accounting or finance
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
