Are you a Shipping & Receiving associate with dreams of changing the lives of others? In a way, you can by helping contribute to the Shipping of spectacle lenses for MILLIONS of children dealing with myopia!

This small knit group of professionals are passionate about what they do and are looking for a couple teammates who embrace the same mentality and passion. In this role, you'll be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Understand and adhere to specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), written work instructions (WI) complying with FDA requirements and ISO standards
  • Verify received orders and enter order data into a lab management system, ordering systems and quality system documents
  • Per customer order, retrieve products from inventory or production, print collaterals, verify all shipment components conform to their specification and order details and package all shipment components and documents
  • Ship package using shipment service provider online system, including customs documentation if international.
  • Organize pick-up or drop-off of package in a way to ensure tendering before the daily cut-off deadline of the shipment service provider.
  • Daily tracking of shipments and prompt issue resolution in collaboration with shipping service provider and the customer if necessary.
  • Daily review of orders in process and escalation in case of undue delays.
  • Maintain records and information according to SOPs and WIs
  • Perform other support services related to production and order fulfilment as directed

Qualifications and requirements to excel in this contract to hire role:

  • Required to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); requires understanding of Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the consequences of not following them
  • Follow appropriate safety and equipment operation procedures
  • Basic computer systems knowledge, skilled in data entry in electronic inventory management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and customer advocacy mindset
  • Read and understand customer purchase orders, packing lists and specifications.
  • Able to work efficiently and under pressure to meet deadlines; perform multiple tasks at several different process stations in order to maintain acceptable job flow


Assignment is contract to hire.

Schedule is an AM shift/hours.

Compensation is $23-$25 per hour. (commensurable upon experience)
