Shipping/Receiving team member
This includes but not limited to:
* Ability to learn and become proficient in Microsoft NAV ERP system.
* Performs order picking, packing, and shipping daily.
* Assist with physical inventory for efficient picking of materials.
* Assist with the cycle count program when required and root cause identification of inaccuracies.
* Maintains company standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy
* Proactive on all Sales Order Returns and/or Credit Memos.
* Assist and ensure any required warehouse training is completed in a timely manner.
* Self-motivated and leads by example in order to complete daily objectives. Cooperative daily coordination of the entire shipping/receiving workload. This should include [but not be limited to] the following functions:
* Discussion and work load allocation for incoming freight shipments.
* Communicates effectively and clearly with internal staff and external customers.
* Responsibility for "odd jobs" including sample making, packaging of certain fermentation products.
* Maintain good housekeeping and safe working environment on a daily basis.
* Performs other duties as assigned by management. In all cases, the goals of this coordination should be efficiency and accuracy, fair allocation of work and safety.
* Must have demonstrated skilled use or the ability to obtain a license to operate tools and trucks [examples-forklift, pallet jacks, carts, turret forklift, terminals, calculators, computer programs, etc.
* Must have demonstrated ability to bend, reach, stoop and remain standing for extended periods of time.
* Must have good or correctable eyesight and no lift materials of approved limits. * High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5-10 years warehouse experience in a high volume, fast paced distribution operations environment.
* Must have demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
* Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
* Must be able to follow detailed instructions and have good visual alpha numeric skills.
* Ability to use and learn software applications, computer and office equipment.
* Must have demonstrated skilled use of equipment and tools [examples-forklift certification, turret forklift, pallet jacks, carts, terminals, calculators, computer programs, etc.
* Must have demonstrated ability to bend, reach, stoop and remain standing for extended periods of time.
* Must have demonstrated ability to lift materials of approved limits.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision and Microsoft Office preferred.
