Are you a Shipping & Receiving professional though with a Mechanical aptitude? If so, read on for an incredible contract to hire opportunity in the South Bay market. Our client is an industrial boiler manufacturing company who's experiencing a spike in demand and in need of a versatile S&R and industrial professional.

Day to day tasks are, but not limited to:

  • Operates electro-mechanical equipment and machinery, hand tools and processing equipment to facilitate the manufacture of client's product line.
  • Insultation and gasket cutting, soldering.
  • Packaging and shipping preparation. Maintain operation and receiving logs and data.
    • Labeling, packaging, cycle counts, inventory control.
    • Bill of lading for domestic and international shipping.
    • Forklift operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Operational knowledge of the safe operation of hand and power tools, Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and drawings.
  • Open communication with all levels of staff and both internal/external vendors, including Shipping Couriers, 3PL and Production staff.
  • Must display a good work ethic and attendance.
  • Quality conscious.
  • Computer proficient and skills with MS Excel helpful. Alpha-Numeric Data Entry skills.

Schedule: M-F, 7am-3:30pm OT potential starts at 6am

Assignment: Contract to hire

Compensation: $23 to $28/hr. (commensurable upon experience)
