Sr. Accounting Manager - Can be 100% Remote
Our client, a nationwide company based in San Francisco, is growing and looking to add a full-time, permanent Senior Accounting Manager to their team. This highly cross-functional role will work closely with other company teams while leading the Accounting team and managing month end closing. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with 8+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and directly work on all activities and functions related to Accounting Operations.
  • Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and analytical review
  • Responsible for critical accounting areas, including stock-based-compensation, Inventories, lease accounting and insurance
  • Prepare support for 10Q/10K in applicable areas
  • Be the key point of contact and manage quarterly and annual audits
  • Ensure execution of key controls in compliance with SOX internal controls and documentation requirements

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of accounting experience is required, with a minimum of 2 years experience working for a publicly traded company AND minimum of 2 years of experience leading accounting teams
  • Experience working for large public accounting firms preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree and CPA certification required
  • Experience working in high-growth environments with strong processes and controls, superior project management and documentation skills
  • Well developed analytical and problem solving skills, superior project management and documentation experience, solid attention to detail, process oriented and big picture thinker
