Our client is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for performing project costing duties in a manufacturing environment. This role is on-site in Rancho Cordova.
Main Functions Include:
Assist in developing standard costs for inventory
Reconcile inventory balance sheets and explain variances
Oversee all product costing including bills of material and routings
Ensure accuracy of financial information in according with GAAP
Compile financial and statistical reporting as requested
Prepare journal entries
Lead year-end physical inventory
Assist with special projects as needed
Ideal qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5+ years' related experience
CPA preferred
Must be a US citizen
