Sr Manufacturing Engineering
Pay Rate: $50/hr-$75/hr

  • 6-month Contract to start, followed by a conversion to FT (this will be C-H). Manager wants this worker to stay on long-term and convert directly.
  • Location: Wichita, KS (fully onsite, but he is open to 4 days in office and 1 day remote)

  • Hours: 8AM-5PM, M-F
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
  • 5-7 years' experience required.

  • Mgr has been at company for over 15 years and inherited the AVCOM (Avionics Communications) team in Wichita, KS - there will be new product intros over the next 2 years and new platforms for business units.
  • 2 Engineers on team now, and Mgr wants to add 2 more to join them.
  • This AVCOM team is responsible for supporting new and existing fuel products, designs, radio test sets (handheld, avionics, aircraft parts), introducing/supporting new products into process.
  • These candidates will not be building products or "bending metal", but rather testing them - dealing with electronics, tracking product quality in the field, uncovering failures/improvements, partnering with the R&D teams, introducing prototypes to factories, etc.
  • Mgr prefers candidates who can still be hands-on, have mechanical/circuit board/avionics/electronics assembly in their background, experience with RF work, and strong process orientation.
