Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: San Rafael
Compensation: $31-$33 an hour

Job Summary:

A local non-profit client of ours is looking for a Staff Accountant on a temp to hire basis. This role is responsible for providing support to the finance and accounting team. This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days in office Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Title Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of A/R (receipts, coding, etc.…)
Manage all aspects of grants and contracts invoicing
Support accounting manager in month end close activities
Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
Posting payroll
Participate in annual audit
Backup for accounting coordinator as needed
Reconcile general ledger accounts

Job Title Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting role
Experience working with a non-profit preferred
Intermediate Excel knowledge preferred
Experience with Salesforce and QuickBooks a plus
