Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: San Francisco

Compensation: $70-75k

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join a growing team in the beverage industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of the company. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing support to the accounting team. Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Recording, posting, and reporting of revenue from each location
  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Monthly reconciliation of A/R and Inventory G/L accounts
  • Prepare and review financial statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with monthly close processes and reconciliations
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Manage and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Prepare and file state and local tax returns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years of Staff Accounting experience with a degree, or a strong bookkeeper with 5+ years of experience
  • NetSuite experience reuired
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills.
