Our Oakland based retail client is seeking a contract Staff Accountant to bring on board for 4+ months immediately. The Staff Accountant will primarily be responsible for assisting with the ME close and reconciliation of accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month end close, focused primarily on fixed asset portion of the close process

  • Assist General Ledger and reconcile accounts

  • Gather and prepare supporting documentation

  • Ensure data integrity and perform record keeping

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

  • Strong fixed asset experience

  • Proficient in Excel and Word

  • Experience with accounting software
