Staff Accountant
Napa

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic ultra-premium winery in Napa. This role will assist the finance team in maintaining the general ledger, reviewing of financial statements, and ensuring accuracy in the accounting department.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintain G/L integrity by posting journal and other entries
Assist with month end/year end close functions
Bank Reconciliations
Accounts Payable support for multiple entities
Process employee expense report, biweekly
Review all invoices on paper and email, and distribute them by department for review and approval
Process all invoices approved, Prepared bill summary report
Prepares invoices for check run, weekly - do excel check summary report
Process all PO's for payment
Maintain all A/P filling current, including W-9
Maintain vendor list and files
Prepare IRS forms 1099 reports

Ideal qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, computer science or related field
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Knowledge of GAAP
