Our Tri-Valley based client has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant to come on board on a strong contract-to-hire basis!

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for processing AP invoices, preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, GL analysis, financial statement preparation, expense reports and more! The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented and a team player. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have good excel skills (vl & pt) as well as experience with ERP systems.

This role will be 100% onsite in the Tri-Valley area and can pay $30-35/hour DOE.


  • Full cycle accounting
  • Accounts Payable - entering, receiving & coding invoices
  • Expense Reports
  • Journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General Ledger
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Ad hoc projects as needed


  • 3-5+ years of experience
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Great Plains or another ERP is a plus
