Nelson is hiring for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for their client in Concord, CA! (Possible remote work option available)
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing support with searching and retaining top notch talent for the company.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, colleges, etc.
Research and contact colleges, job fair events and provide organization information, opportunities and benefits to main rapport.
Develop a strong applicant pipeline through various methods including; job boards, social networking, career fairs and referrals.
Pre-screen job candidates through reviewing resumes to determine suitable candidates.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with Talent Acquisition Specialist or hiring managers Manage all communication with candidates and hiring managers to maintain smooth hiring process Collaborate with Human Resources in order to maintain updated requisitions
Communicate with the Human Resources and Branches on completion of candidate background, drug screen, and start date.
Maintain current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain Staffing Report notes Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity (cost per hire)
Set up job fairs and coordinate Talent Acquisition Specialist and managers attendance
All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient with online job board searches (i.e. CareerBuilder, monster, craigslist, etc.)
Proficient with recruiting on Social Networking Channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Professional phone speaking skills required
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills required
Excellent writing/proofreading skills required.
Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization
Must represent the company in a professional manner and create a positive first impression
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where priorities change frequently Confidentiality required
Strong Microsoft Office competency required, including Outlook, Word and Excel PowerPoint & Access experience a plus
Efficiency using internet and job search engines required Applicant tracking software experience a plus
Final applicant must have ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
