Job Title: Temp Certified Payroll Specialist

Location: Petaluma

Compensation: $27-$36 an hour

Job Summary:

We are partnering with a well-established client of ours in the construction industry who is looking for a temporary Certified Payroll Specialist. This role is responsible for processing payroll and liabilities. The ideal candidate would have certified payroll and QuickBooks experience.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll
  • Deposit payroll liabilities
  • Prepare certified payroll reports
  • Prepare monthly union and workman's comp reports
  • Pay bills and record recurring auto payments
  • Record transactions in QuickBooks
  • Maintain transactions reports in Excel
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Process medical reimbursements for employees

Job Title Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting role.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Certified payroll experience a plus
