Project Overview:

Looking for a UX/ Visual Designer in the New York area.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex systems into simple and intelligent tools to enable users to conduct their work more effectively
  • Produce high-quality, end-to-end designs for components and whole products - from concept to execution
  • Collaborate effectively with PM, Eng and UX teammates to establish features, solve complex design challenges and resolve loose ends in the UI
  • Partner with researchers and conduct studies to understand users and validate designs
  • Review and assess the usability of products and make constructive suggestions for improvement
  • Advocate for user experience and UX best practices

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex systems into simple and intelligent tools to enable users to conduct their work more effectively

  • Collaborate effectively with PM, Eng and UX teammates to establish features, solve complex design challenges and resolve loose ends in the UI

Requirements:

  • Looking for 3-7 years experience.
  • Candidates should have experience working with Enterprise level applications and a portfolio of work.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process; creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes
  • Strong core interaction design skills
  • Comfortable with generating creative solutions for complex design challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work within a highly technical environment and operate with an excellent understanding of technical requirements and limitations
  • Strong portfolio including work on web interfaces for professional tools or enterprise applications

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, debugging, and visibility tools a plus
  • Passionate, high attention to detail, innovative, creative, and team-oriented
  • Solid visual design and prototyping skills and experience with user research
