We are presently seeking qualified candidates for a Direct Hire VP of Sales and Marketing opportunity with a leading producer of elastomer products for the Commercial and Defense Aerospace industry. This position is responsible for the overall management and direction of a team-based sales and marketing to ensure increased sales and profits.

Essential Functions:

Participate as a member of the President's "Resource Committee" to guide the course of the division and to assure its success.
Establish, direct, and manage sales, margins, strategic planning, development of new customers and maintaining / improving current customer relations within each business unit team both domestically and internationally.
Perform research market trends and new business initiatives; formulate, recommend, and implement policies and programs in the areas of sales, pricing, marketing and product or service, and related activities including marketing programs, customer relations and advertising.
Ensure compliance with all company quality programs including AS/ISO 9100 and others.
Manage direct staff and their related training and performance programs for all Business Unit Managers, Sales Engineers, and Customer Support Employees.
Identify, select, and direct national and international Sales Distributors and Representatives.
Develop and initiate sales data reports and other statistical data to formulate sales strategies and other related programs. Must have good oral and written communication ability as well as a high level of moral and ethical values.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BSME, BSEE or similar technical or business oriented four-year degree.
15+yrs of relevant sales and marketing experience required
Aerospace Commercial and Defense experience required
Experience with LTA short-term and long-term negotiation
