We are presently seeking qualified candidates for a Direct Hire VP of Sales and Marketing opportunity with a leading producer of elastomer products for the Commercial and Defense Aerospace industry. This position is responsible for the overall management and direction of a team-based sales and marketing to ensure increased sales and profits.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate as a member of the President's "Resource Committee" to guide the course of the division and to assure its success.
  • Establish, direct, and manage sales, margins, strategic planning, development of new customers and maintaining / improving current customer relations within each business unit team both domestically and internationally.
  • Perform research market trends and new business initiatives; formulate, recommend, and implement policies and programs in the areas of sales, pricing, marketing and product or service, and related activities including marketing programs, customer relations and advertising.
  • Ensure compliance with all company quality programs including AS/ISO 9100 and others.
  • Manage direct staff and their related training and performance programs for all Business Unit Managers, Sales Engineers, and Customer Support Employees.
  • Identify, select, and direct national and international Sales Distributors and Representatives.
  • Develop and initiate sales data reports and other statistical data to formulate sales strategies and other related programs. Must have good oral and written communication ability as well as a high level of moral and ethical values.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BSME, BSEE or similar technical or business oriented four-year degree.
  • 15+yrs of relevant sales and marketing experience required
  • Aerospace Commercial and Defense experience required
  • Experience with LTA short-term and long-term negotiation
