Nelson Connects is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates and Leads for a local, family-owned organization in Hayward that is dedicated to bringing authentic cuisine to the dinner table.

Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience.

As a Warehouse Associates or Warehouse Lead, you will:

  • Operate forklift and electric/manual pallet jacks.
  • Read and pack customer orders.
  • Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory process.
  • Always keep loading dock clean, orderly and organized.
  • May be assigned facilities or sanitation duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Warehouse Leads will also: Lead and mentor a team of 3-10 associates.

Warehouse Associates or Warehouse Lead candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Forklift/pallet jack experience.
  • Accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Customer focused.
  • Team player and will to help co-workers but also able to work independently.

Hiring is dependent on client's pre-employment screening which includes background, drug and motor vehicle report (if duties involve MHE or Forklift use).

Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
