Located in the North Bay of the SF Bay Area, our industry leading Wine distributor is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager. Read on even if you don't have a wine industry background, that's ok...THE KEY IS STRONG EXPERIENCE IN DISTRIBUTION CENTER WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT!
SALARY DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE BUT EXPECTATION IS BETWEEN $100-125K + BONUS AND BENEFITS!!
To succeed in this role, you'll be tasked with exceling at the following, but not limited to:
- Mid-level management and leadership with all levels of staff (including exempt and non-exempt employees).
- Monitor and motivated KPIs and daily metrics to meet productivity and shipping demands.
- Follow and adhere to company's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support inventory control, cycle count and freight demands.
- Proper storage and control of product among Warehouse space, based on FIFO standards.
- Budget compliance, managing operational and facility expenses.
- Lead daily, monthly and quarterly Safety reviews and trainings.
- On occasion use of MHE and FKL operations, including Clamp, Stand-Up, Sit-Down and pallet jacks.
Qualifications and Requirements to be considered are:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Warehouse Lead and/or Management experience, preferably in a Shipping, Distribution or Warehouse setting.
- Business Administration Degree.
- Computer proficient with various WMS, ERP or other platform. MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook are musts).
- Material Handling Experience, preferably as a trainer or Supervisor, is required.
