For nearly 40 years, our client has been a leading Supply Chain and 3PL provider in the domestic US. With a growing demand to support their East Bay facilities, we're in need of a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the Swing shift operations. In this career advancing role, you'll be tasked with the following but not limited to:

  • Manage efficiency in the plant by determining labor hours needed, meet/exceeding productivity goals, KPIs and ensuring accuracy of quantity counts for items received, stocked, picked, inventoried, and shipped.
  • Inform indirect reports and line level leads and peers data around safety, cost, morale and quality.
  • Monitor activity so that daily quotas are met. Keep exempt and contingent staff on task to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Spot check frequent quality assurance inspections. Orders must be compliant with company and industry standards.
  • Schedules materials to a neighboring warehouse; cycle counting and coordinating inventory transfers with other related departments.
  • Assist with implementation of and continued adherence to Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.

To succeed in this role, we are seeking those who possess:

  • 3-5 years' experience with process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in a Logistics or Warehouse setting.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in business administration or industrial management/engineering.
  • BoL / SAP / ERP experience. Familarity with Arena, Agile or other PLM systems strongly preferred.
  • RF Scan gun experience. FKL experience.
  • MS Office Suite (Intermediate to Advanced in Excel).
  • Hands on experience with S&R and Warehouse processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of staff (internally) and external vendors.

Schedule is Monday through Friday (2pm to 10:30pm).

Assignment is Exempt/Direct Hire.
